Author description

Tony Williams has written 18 rugby books including: biographies of All Black legends Sean Fitzpatrick, Zinzan Brooke, Michael Jones, Ian Jones, Frank Bunce and Carlos Spencer; profiles of each of the New Zealand Super Rugby teams - Blues, Chiefs, Crusaders, Highlanders and Hurricanes; and four editions of Rugby Skills Tactics and Rules (with ex-All Black selector Gordon Hunter, Frank Bunce and John McKittrick). John McKittrick is a highly respected international rugby and sevens coach. He has also coached 15-a-side rugby at development and age group level. He first began coaching sevens at provincial level with the North Harbour Union and guided them to five New Zealand sevens titles. In 2002 he was invited to coach the Cook Islands sevens team in the Commonwealth Games. From 2001 to 2005 he was coach of the USA sevens team in the IRB World Series and two sevens Rugby World Cups. He is a guest coach of Penguins International which fosters rugby around the world.
