Peter Adds (MA Hons, Auckland), Te Ati Awa, is Tumuaki/Head of School, Maori Studies at Victoria University and is currently doing research on the Te Ati Awa for his PhD. Bronwyn Wood (MA Hons, Auckland),has taught social studies and geography and is author of Places and Resources - Essential Learning about New Zealand Society, The Great Escape, and co-author of Global Issues Atlas and the two activity books at Level 5 and Level 6. Bronwyn has worked as the secondary Co-ordinator for Social Studies Online and was the National Professional Leader for Beacon School for senior programmes in social studies in 2005.
