Author descriptionDavid Riley is an award-winning children's writer and high school teacher based in South Auckland. He attended the University of Auckland where he graduated with a Masters in Social Anthropology, majoring in Maori and Pacific studies. He has over 20 years' experience as a high school Drama and English teacher. He's also worked as a researcher and journalist and writes books and reading resources for teachers, parents and young people. David lives in Manukau with his wife Debbie, who is Samoan and also a teacher, and their two daughters. |
