Author description

Lawrence Zwier is an associate director of curriculum at the English Language Center at Michigan State University. He is the author of numerous general interest and ESL books, including Step Up to the TOEFL. He has taught in the United States, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore. Lynn Stafford-Yilmaz (1964-2009) was a popular instructor at Bellevue Community College (Bellevue, WA) who had taught around the world. She authored/co-authored 11 books in the ESL field. Her colleagues established the Lynn Stafford-Yilmaz Memorial Scholarship in her honor after her death.
