Maja Karlsson was taught how to knit at 6 years old by her grandmother and her fascination with the possibilities of knitting has just kept growing ever since. Over time, Maja started to work more with knit designs, which is now her main job. She is Head of Design at Jarbo Garn yarn manufacturer. As her knitting work has picked up, she has slowly but steadily built up her own business, working with pattern designs, writing, photography, blogging, and online store and as a course leader. She has 32.4k followers on Instagram. She lives in Arvika, Sweden.
